This site is amazing. Thank you to all who kept photos, programs and fabulous memories of this extraordinary time. My mother loved George Trautwein as much as I did and she passed away 8 years ago. I feel like this has brought some of her memories and times of my youth back to me. Thank you all and I feel blessed to know such passionate and literate people. You all grew up well!

I have been thinking back to our days with Mr. Trautwein. He is the best of what a person and a teacher should be--I didn't realize how much he would influence my life and I am so glad I got to tell him at our reunion. Now he has brought us all together in our respect, love and memories of him. Be well my friends.

My daughter sang last night at a concert hall at Northwestern University with her high school choir and the final song they did was The Lord Bless You and Keep You by Peter Lutkin which I remembered word for word from my BBHS choir days (though Mr. Trautwein told me to lip snyc!). My daughter is a soloist in her choir so we've come a long way! I am so happy I got to tell Mr. Trautwein (I have to still call him that) all about her at our last reunion. Much love....
