As I sit and read the different things written about Mr. Trautwein the constant theme is how he touched our lives in so many more ways than music. He was a special man who was dedicated not only to music but instilling in all of us the wonderful things life has to offer and that we are all capable of getting there. May he rest in peace with all of us watching over him.

Sitting with old and new friends tonight was absolutely great! Realizing that even from heaven he is helping us. I met people tonight that I knew the names but had never met and made new friends and for me in a new city it was wonderful. So Happy Birthday and Thank You George Trautwein for all the ways you taught and inspired me and still tonight had an impact on me.
