Libby Jacobi

Libby Jacobi (via Matt Miller)

Your article on Mr. Trautwein put into words my thoughts and feelings exactly. He has been with me since the 5th grade.
I started chorus with him in the 5th and went through the 12th. Plastic?! He threw metal folding chairs with us. You described him perfectly!
He was the most influential person/teacher in my life.I graduated from Goldsboro High in N.C. in 1963. He came to our reunion about ten years ago and we sang
some of our Gilbert and Sullivan and others. We feared and loved him. Saw him a few years back at a funeral and he invited me to visit so "we could sit, talk and drink
champagne".

I will send you any pertinent info on memorials, etc. We are going to do something in Goldsboro......there are so many of us who love that Man.
Thank you.....
