Gigi Sachs Eisenberg

Gigi Sachs Eisenberg

I remember this amazing song from the Mikado. Sung by Pish-Tush, Ko-Ko and Pooh-Bah (Glenn was one of them, but I don't remember who played the others...Mike Feigin? Matt Miller? Stephen Pelton? Jeff Schechter?). But I remember it was fantastic because the harmonies were in tune and the song, which is very fast, was sung without one mistake. Perfection!

"I Am So Proud"...the very end....
To sit in solemn silence in a dull, dark dock,
In a pestilential prison, with a life-long lock,
Awaiting the sensation of a short, sharp shock,
From a cheap and chippy chopper on a big black block!
To sit in solemn silence in a dull, dark dock,
In a pestilential prison, with a life-long lock,
Awaiting the sensation of a short, sharp shock,
From a cheap and chippy chopper on a big black block!
A dull, dark dock, a life-long lock,
A short, sharp shock, a big black block!
To sit in solemn silence in a pestilential prison,
And awaiting the sensation
From a cheap and chippy chopper on a big black block!

Great song! Glenn and I used to sing this all day while painting our parent's house one summer.
