I too was lucky enough to go to my first opera with Trauty "La Boheme". To this day it's my favorite Opera. It was because of George that I went into audio engineering and then TV Production. I fell in love with putting together the show. He, more than any teacher I have ever had inspired me and influenced the rest of my life. I wish I had told him how much he changed my life.

Peter Spear- my nemesis- we meet again, i wasn't a terrific singer or actor but I loved being a part of the show and I would do anything for Trauty. I guess he knew that because I got a bunch of supporting parts of the years. The one part I really wanted of all was the Major General in Pirates of Penzance and I told Trauty. When the cast list went up and I didn’t get the part I was devastated. After school I went to him and told him I was upset that I didn’t get the part. He looked me straight in the eyes, without being mean or apologetic and said “It doesn’t matter what you want, I need you to play the part of Samuel” so of course I trusted him and of course he was right. It was my favorite part I ever had. And Peter was fantastic as the Major General, as was the rest of the cast.
