Leonard Aberman

Leonard Aberman

One of my fondest Blind Brook High School memories is of the year we had a talent show and Rob Kuropatwa, Rick Platzner, Baran Tokar, and I formed the singing group, The Doo Wops. We practiced evry day after school and on the weekends. We wanted to do a great job and make Mr. Trautwein proud. When we finished our set, instead of walking off and having the next group perform, Mr. Trautwein asked Robert to introduce each of us and somehow that made us feel that we had done a very good job.
I also remember the times when our class was misbehaving and he would joke and say that maybe he should retire and go clip coupons in Florida.
He was truly a great teacher and I thoroughly enjoyed being in his class.
