Postings to this blog originated with the We Go On! Facebook Group that was generated after hearing of George's death. Hundreds of people who knew and loved George have shared their memories, thoughts, grief, and mostly, celebration of this beautiful life.
Posts are VAGUELY in alphabetical order based on the writer's first name. Some of the thoughts conveyed through the Facebook pages are short, and often funny, anecdotes about life with George, and these are gathered together in a separate post. Song lyrics, poems, and other tributes are also included.
Many posts generated wonderful discussions, connections, additional memories, and stories. I've included as many of the comments as possible under the original post itself, and especially when the comments added new reflections on Mr. Trautwein's life and influence.
