I am neither a student nor a fellow teacher of George Trautwein. I am a parent whose children went to Blind Brook High School when he taught there and were lucky enough to have George Trautwein as their teacher. George disciplined his students, loved them, invited and encouraged all to join the choir, and instilled in them a work ethic, a feeling of pride and the special gift of a love and appreciation of music that will enrich their lives forever.
