I remember returning to school one fall and breathlessly running up to Trauty to proudly tell him that I was the Leading Player in Pippin at sleepaway camp. He took one long look at me, and regally said: "My dear, we are all leading players". He made us want to perform as such, so that we all worked to be stars. No matter how small or large the role, or as one of the many in the seasonal chorus, we were lucky to be part of his wonderful world.
